Open Call

We are thrilled to announce the open call for submissions to the Official Competition Program of DOCK 2025 – an international festival dedicated entirely to historical documentary cinema.

Hosted in the vibrant coastal city of Burgas, along the beautiful Black Sea, DOCK is more than just a festival – it’s a platform for meaningful dialogue, powerful storytelling, and cultural exchange.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Documentary films only

• Completed after September 1, 2023

• At least 45 minutes in length

• Centered on historical themes

• Subtitled in English (if not in Bulgarian or English)

AWARDS & PRIZES:

• Grand Prize for Best Historical Documentary: 2,000 BGN (~1,000 EUR)
