You can look forward to compelling historical documentary films that remind us of the incredible depth of human experience and the diverse faces of courage.
The screenings will take place from 13 to 14 June at Lucky Cinema in Plovdiv.

About DOCK
The interest in historical cinema over the last decade is a trend in contemporary documentary filmmaking. In keeping with this trend, not only on world screens but also in our country, in 2018 we launched the largest forum for international historical documentary cinema – DOCK. The main edition is held annually in Burgas, every September, over the course of five days.

A parallel program
The films are evaluated by a highly qualified international jury, which will present the grand prize of 2,000 BGN.
Producers, directors, and screenwriters from all over the world are attending the festival, and public access to all screenings is completely free.
The mission of DOCK is to become one of the most valuable cultural events in Bulgaria, contributing to the exploration of world history in an attractive and memorable way.
The festival is realised with the financial support of the National Culture Fund, Burgas Municipality, and the National Film Centre.
