Rock’n’ Roll

Rock’n’ Roll

“Rock’n’Roll” is an exhilarating story, compiled from the memories of the members of some of the most legendary rock bands in Bulgaria, like “Ahat”, “Revue”, “Era”, “New Generation”, “Control”, who broke the cliché with their revolutionary music and lyrics in the 1980s and became pioneers of the counter-culture in Bulgaria.

The rock musicians perform their greatest hits in the film, remembering the era in which their paths started – how they created their bands in schools and universities, how they rehearsed in basements and performed only at small parties before coming out into the open.

They remember how the government tried to tame them by presenting the opportunity to perform publicly. They take that chance but never give up on their rebellious nature.
